Phuket International Film Festival
The first international Phuket Film Festival will be held at the new SF Cinema theaters at Jungceylon Shopping Center on Patong Beach from September 30 to October 6 2007. Chaiwat Ahantharik, director of AMW International Co. Ltd. the organizer of the festival, shared details and vision with Monsters and Critics.

Phuket Marathon
The Laguna Phuket International Marathon is the largest marathon in Southeast Asia. It's being held for the second time this Sunday and is expected to attract 15,000 international runners from 40 different countries. The event focuses on exposing the true beauty of Phuket following the tsunami in 2004.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.phuketmarathon.com or at the event Expo in Phuket on June 15 and 16. The Nation has details of the event.

Royal Phuket Marina to Host International Boat Show
Travel Daily News reports that the Royal Phuket Marina will host the annual Phuket International Boat Show in 2007. Event takes place on December 8-9, coinciding with the Phuket King's Cup.
