Asean: Smoking Kills 1 Million a Year in the Region
Records show that 1 million people die from smoking-related diseases every year in the Asean countries. Anti-tobacco lobbyists are urging the governments of Southeast Asia to ban smoking in all indoor workplaces, and they have been gaining traction at the WHO conference in Bangkok.
